The appraisal process can be a powerful tool in improving performance through using it to set people up for success. But appraising others can be a difficult task.

This course teaches you how to prepare for and to conduct an appraisal interview and subsequently measure performance against objectives.

  • Conduct of the appraisal - environment and facilities; planning the room; informing the appraisee; having the evidence available; completing the appraisal form; gaining sign-off; setting people up for success
  • Improvement and measurement - building for success; measuring performance against targets; MBWA; improving existing systems and proceses

How you will learn:

Learning is achieved through a combination of formal lectures, exercises and role play simulations, including completing appraisal documentation to simulate the process.
