| Course
benefits:
Organisations thrive when the business strategy is in place, agreed,
communicated to the stakeholders and players, and fully understood and
supported by all those involved in making it work.
This workshop will teach attendees the techniques, the processes, and
the skills that will enable effective strategic thinking to be achieved.
It will show how to avoid three key problems in the development of
a strategy and the thought processes used. These are:
- When the strategic thinking process becomes embroiled in time consuming
politics and procrastination
- When the only innovation is simply adding to what already exists
- When those required to implement the strategy are not involved in
the innovation and strategy development process.
Who should attend:
This workshop should be attended by those who need to obtain the skills
required to optimise organisational strategic thinking.
Prerequisites:

How you will learn:
This workshop is intended to be highly participative and relies on
interaction between each of the participants and the between the participants

of learning is achieved using exercises and case studies based on the
organisation for which the workshop is being conducted. For this reason
we recommend a consultative approach leading to the development of a
workshop, the content of which is specific to the client organisation
and the workshop participants.
