Course benefits:

With the current trend towards self-managed teams the role of the team leader is changing from an operational one to a more facilitative, coaching role.

Traditionally teams looked to their team leader to provide answers, decisions and solutions for them. With the increase in empowerment, individuals in teams are now being encouraged to take more personal responsibility.

In order for these changes to provide benefits both for the organisation and for the individual, and to ensure tiptop performance, it is important for team leaders to develop effective coaching skills.

The aim of this workshop is to assist you in developing the skills required to coach your team to their full potential.

This workshop will teach you coaching skills based on Sir John Whitmore's excellent GROW model which has been used so successfully in coaching both in the business and in the sporting world. You will practice new skills and receive helpful feedback in a safe and supportive environment.
